Northern Iowa man seriously hurt when ejected from pickup truck

FAYETTE COUNTY – A Northern Iowa man sustained serious injuries when he crashed his pickup truck and was ejected from the vehicle.

On September 9th, 2024, at approximately 01:43 a.m. Fayette County Deputies were called to the 25,000 block of Lincoln Road in reference to a single vehicle / single occupant rollover accident. Upon arrival, deputies identified 22-year-old Stryker A. Long of Eldorado as the driver of the 2013 Chevy Silverado K250 involved in the accident. Stryker was ejected from his vehicle and sustained serious injuries, and was transported via ambulance to Gundersen-Palmer hospital in West Union.

The accident remains under investigation.

The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the West Union Police Department, West Union Fire, and Gundersen Ambulance.
