6 Things You Didn’t Know You Can Do On Your Phone

We all know that our phones are powerful little devices. But did you know that there are a lot of things your phone can do that you might not be aware of? It’s true! Also, there are some pretty neat tricks that you can do with your phone that can make your life a lot easier. If you didn’t know about these things, don’t worry – we’re here to let you in on the secret. Here are six things you didn’t know you could do on your phone.

1. Access Darknet Markets

If you didn’t know, the darknet is a hidden part of the internet that can only be accessed using special software. This is where you’ll find all sorts of illegal activity taking place, including the buying and selling of drugs, weapons, and other contraband. In order to browse Darknet on Android, you’ll need to install a special browser like Orbot. Once you have Orbot installed, you can use the Tor network to access Darknet websites. While it’s not something we would ever condone, it is interesting to know that your phone can be used to access these darknet markets.

2. Mirror Your Phone’s Display

Did you know that you can use your phone to mirror its display on a TV or monitor? This is incredibly useful if you want to show friends and family photos or videos stored on your phone. It’s also great for giving presentations directly from your phone. There are a few different ways to do this, but the easiest is to use Google Home. Simply open the Google Home app and select the device you want to cast to. Then, tap the Cast icon in the upper-right corner of your screen and select your phone. Your phone’s display will then be mirrored on the TV or monitor.

3. Use Your Phone as a Wi-Fi Hotspot

If you find yourself in a situation where there is no Wi-Fi available, you can always use your phone as a hotspot. This is incredibly useful if you need to get some work done or if you need to stay connected while you’re on the go. Keep in mind that using your phone as a hotspot will use up a lot of data, so it’s best to do this when you have a good data plan. To use your phone as a hotspot, simply go to Settings > Cellular > Personal Hotspot and toggle the switch to on.

4. Use Your Phone as a Flashlight

In addition to being a powerful communications device, your phone can also be used as a flashlight. This can come in handy if you find yourself in a dark place and need some light. Most phones have a built-in flashlight feature, but did you know that you can also use your phone’s screen as a flashlight? Simply go to Settings > Display and tap the checkbox next to Ambient Display. This will cause your phone’s screen to light up whenever you receive a notification, making it easy to find your way in the dark.

5. Take Advantage of Google Now

Google Now is a feature that is built into Android that allows Google to provide you with information before you even ask for it. For example, if you have an upcoming flight, Google Now will automatically provide you with information about the flight such as departure time and gate number. Google Now can also give you traffic updates, sports scores, weather forecasts, and more. To access Google Now, simply swipe up from the bottom of your screen or say “OK Google.”

6. Use Your Phone as a Remote Control

If you have a smart TV or a streaming device like a Roku, you can use your phone as a remote control. This is incredibly convenient if you lose your remote or if you want to control your TV from another room. There are a few different apps that you can use for this, but the most popular is Peel Smart Remote. Simply download the app and follow the instructions to set it up. Once it’s set up, you’ll be able to use your phone to control your TV or streaming device.

There you have it – six things you didn’t know you could do on your phone. Now that you know about these features and tricks, put them to good use and make your life a little bit easier. It’s amazing what our phones can do these days! This is just a small sampling of the things you can do with your phone. With a little bit of exploration, you’ll be surprised at what you can find.
