MASON CITY – Mason City police are investigating a robbery of a Yes Way convenience store in town Tuesday morning.
On January 25, 2022, at 5:44 a.m., Mason City Police were called to a robbery at Yes Way, 637 12th Street NE, by a store employee. The employee reported that a male subject who had come into the store and demanded money from the cash register.
Responding officers determined that the suspect fled the area on foot. He is described as a male, whose clothing concealed his identity, approximately 5’6” tall. The store employee was not injured. The incident remains under investigation.
