MASON CITY – Three new firefighters were sworn in this week for the Mason City Fire Department.
On Tuesday, January 14, the Mason City Fire Department (MCFD) hosted a swearing-in ceremony for three new firefighters – Austin Thompson, Kaitlyn Shirk, and Hunter Schmidt – and Deputy Chief-EMS Carl Ginapp.
