Dale Paul Klink, age 93, passed away on Friday, Oct. 1, 2021. A graveside service for the family will be held at a later date. Lindstrom

Dale was born in LaPorte City, Iowa on Dec. 23, 1927 to Kreme and Sophie (Heins) Klink, the oldest of five children. He started school in Floyd, Iowa before moving to the Riceville area in 1943. He was confirmed on June 18 1944 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church of Riceville and graduated from Riceville High School in 1946. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in October 1950 and was discharged in October 1952 after serving in Germany. He did custom spraying for many years and loved NASCAR racing and traveling, going to Texas and Arizona for the winter.
Dale is survived by his sister, June Richardson of Omaha, Neb.; sister-in-law, Janet Klink of Riceville; two nieces; and three nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kreme and Sophie; sisters, Leona Roethler and Dorothy Klink; brother, Larry Klink; and niece, Terry Roethler.
