CLEAR LAKE – A Clear Lake man was issued a citation after a two-vehicle accident Wednesday morning.
A two-vehicle collision occurred Wednesday, September 16, 2020, at 9:36 AM near the intersection of Highway 122 and Jonquil Ave in Cerro Gordo County. A 2013 Chrysler Town and Country being operated by 33-year-old Bobbi Secory of Clear Lake was traveling westbound on Highway 122 when it collided into the rear of a westbound 2016 Chevrolet Cruze, being operated by a 15-year-old male from Mason City. Traffic had slowed due to a vehicle that was making a right turn onto Jonquil Ave. Clear Lake medics responded to scene for possible injuries, however nobody was transported to the hospital at the time of accident.
Secory was issued a citation for failure to stop within a clear assured distance.
The Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Clear Lake Police and Clear Lake Medics.
Did they cite the 15 year old?
Could be he has a school permit and goes to Clear Lake high to play football.
