Iowa DOT to public meeting in Mason City concerning Iowa’s long-range transportation plan

AMES, Iowa – Feb. 15, 2012 – The Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) will hold six public information meetings regarding the update of Iowa’s state transportation plan. The information meetings will be held at the following locations between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m.

  • March 6: Wilbur Aalfs Library, Gleeson Room, 529 Pierce St., Sioux City
  • March 8: North Iowa Area Council of Governments, 526 Sixth St. SW, Mason City
  • March 13: Ames City Hall, Council Chambers, 515 Clark Ave., Ames
  • March 15: Iowa DOT District 4 Office, 2210 E. Seventh St., Atlantic
  • March 20: Iowa DOT District 5 Materials Office, 301 W. Briggs Ave., Fairfield
  • March 22: Hiawatha City Hall, Multipurpose Room, 101 Emmons St., Hiawatha

At each meeting, a presentation will be made at 5:15 p.m. Personnel will be available between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. to individually discuss the plan.
