WORTH COUNTY – A Worth county man will spend time behind bars for eluding police and domestic assault.
Joshua Reich, age 31 of Manly, was arrested and booked into the Worth county jail on Saturday, September 12, 2020, reportedly after cops executed a warrant at a Manly house Reich lived in. Reich was wanted on felony eluding charges from an incident in July of this year in Worth county. Reich got 90 days in jail for this crime after sentencing this month.
As a result of the interaction between Reich and arresting police in Manly, Reich was charged with interference with official acts and possession of marijuana. In November, Reich was sentenced to 90 days in jail for third-offense possession of marijuana, while the interference charge was dismissed.
Most recently, Reich was charged in Mason City with felony robbery and domestic assault in 2019. Richard Tompkins was last listed as his defending attorney. This month, the robbery charge was dismissed, but Reich got 90 days in jail for domestic assault.
Reich fled from Mason City police back in 2014.
