IOWA CITY – Iowa won another Big Ten home game Sunday behind 13 points from former Mason City Mohawk Mackenzie Meyer, defeating Wisconsin 97-71.
The Hawkeyes have won 34 consecutive home games, ranking second in the country behind Baylor (53).
Four Hawkeyes scored in double figures, including senior Kathleen Doyle (22), freshman McKenna Warnock (20), sophomore Monika Czinano (19), and senior Makenzie Meyer (13).
Freshman McKenna Warnock shot 75 percent (6-8) from field goals, 80 percent (4-5) from the three-point line, and 100 percent (4-4) from the free throw line, recording a career-high for three pointers in a single game.
Sophomore Logan Cook recorded a season-high 4 rebounds.
Junior Zion Sanders recorded a season-high 3 assists for the Hawkeyes.
