Congressman Steve King to hold town halls in Ames and Harlan

WASHINGTON, D.C.- Congressman Steve King announces that he will be hosting two town hall meetings on Friday, July 19. Both town halls are open to the public and to the media.

The first of the two town halls will be held in Story County at Ames City Auditorium located in Ames at 520 6th St. The Story County town hall will run from 9:00-10:00 AM Central. The second of the day’s town halls will be held in Shelby County at the C.G. Therkildsen Activity Center located in Harlan at 706 Victoria St. The Shelby County town hall will run from 3:00-4:00 PM Central.

King has pledged to hold a town hall in each of the 39 counties in the 4th Congressional District this year, and, as scheduled, these two town halls will be the 22nd and 23rd King will have hosted in the district since January.

Friday, July 19th Town Hall: Story County

Congressman Steve King’s Story County town hall will be held in Ames, Iowa at the Ames City Auditorium located at 520 6th St. The Story County town hall will run from 9:00-10:00 AM Central.

Friday, July 19th Town Hall: Shelby County

Congressman Steve King’s Shelby County town hall will be held in Harlan, Iowa at the C.G. Therkildsen Activity Center located at 706 Victoria St. The Shelby County town hall will run from 3:00-4:00 PM Central.
