MASON CITY – It was reported at 1:38 pm Wednesday that Trey Michael Stack, age 18, who shows a Mason City address, had been arrested on a bench warrant.
Stack was being followed by police officers in the area between S. President and S. Adams. The Mason City Police Department apprehended him in the alley behind the former Office Supply store.
Stack failed to show up in court on a charge of interference with official acts and a warrant was issued for his arrest on April 1st. He is now being held in the Cerro Gordo County Jail on $300.00 bond.
Stack is facing a July 2nd, 2013 trial for a charge of third degree burglary, a class D felony. At same trial, Stack will face a charge of third degree theft -an aggravated misdemeanor- and possession of a controlled substance – a serious misdemeanor. Stack has plead not guilty to all the crimes, which allegedly took place earlier this year. A pre-trial conference is set for June 21st.
There was also a warrant out for Stack’s arrest in Floyd county for driving while barred and failing to obey a stop sign, an offense that again allegedly occurred earlier this year. No court date is set on those charges.
