MASON CITY – Around 6:45 pm Monday evening, an ambulance was dispatched to 309 North Adams for an unresponsive female.
The ambulance arrived at the above address with a silenced siren and left the same way.
Residents and witnesses were questioned by the Mason City Police Department and the Iowa State Patrol. The only thing overheard was that they were drinking and had just got two gallons of vodka.
One witness was about to flee after gathering his belongings, but police stopped him before he could take his bags and leave on his bike.
Mason City police said today the incident is still under investigation and no further information could be released at this time. This afternoon, the Mason City Fire Department could only confirm that they responded to a medical call to the area.
