MASON CITY – A Charles City man was hurt in a Monday morning crash outside Mason City.
The accident took place at about 5:18 AM on Monday, August 21. In response, Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the single vehicle accident in the area of Thrush Avenue and 245th Street in rural Cerro Gordo county. A Blue 2001 Dodge Ram driven by Daniel Rodger Obrien, age 58 of Charles City, struck the bridge guard rail. Obrien was transported to Mercy Medical Center of North Iowa with non-life threatening injuries.
The Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Department was assisted by the Mason City Fire Department.
