Teen escapes serious injury after crash near Rockwell

ROCKWELL, IOWA – A Mason City teen escaped serious injury after a crash Friday.

On August 18th, 2017 Cerro Gordo County deputies responded to a single vehicle rollover in the 5000 block of Partridge Avenue (Highway 65) near Rockwell, Iowa. A red 2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo was northbound on Partrdge Avenue when it crossed over and entered the west ditch, striking a field drive, and rolled. The driver, Chase McCleish, age 17 of Mason City, suffered minor injuries and was transported from the scene by private vehicle.

The car was severly disabled from the wreck.

The Cerro Gordo County Sheriffs Department was assisted by Mason City Fire Department and Rockwell EMT’s.
