RURAL WINNEBAGO COUNTY – AN ATV rollover accident claimed one person’s life this weekend in rural Winnebago county.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident took place Sunday, April 23 at abbot 6 PM near 130th Street and count road A42. A 2013 Polaris ATV was north bound on 130th Street about 1/4 mile south of County Road A42 when the driver lost control for an unknown reason. The atv entered the east ditch, hit a farm drive and rolled over.
As a result, the driver of the ATV was killed. The name of the driver is being withheld at this time.
The Iowa State Patrol was assisted by the Winnebago Sheriff’s Office, Forest City Fire and Ambulance.
