MASON CITY – A Mason City man was caught drunk driving for a third time this weekend.

Mason City police stopped a vehicle at the 300 block of 3rd Street NE at about 2:36 AM Saturday, August 20. During the traffic stop, the officer determined that the driver, 39-year-old Daniel Martez Judon III, was intoxicated and had no valid driver’s license.

As a result, Judon was arrested for first-offense operating while intoxicated and driving with a suspended license. He was taken to the county jail, booked and soon released, pending a court date.

Judon was caught twice in Cerro Gordo county in 2001 for drunk driving and was guilty of both counts.
