MASON CITY -A Ventura man already in jail had more charges added Wednesday.

Daniel Martez Judon III, 34, whom authorities list as a Ventura resident, is currently being held in the Cerro Gordo County Jail on a serious domestic assault charge, described as “an aggravated misdemeanor, if the domestic abuse assault is committed with the intent to inflict a serious injury upon another, or if the person uses or displays a dangerous weapon in connection with the assault.”

Judon was arrested on August 23rd, 2012 by Mason City police on the domestic assault charge and has plead not guilty.  A motion for a bond reduction (set at $1000 previously) by Judon’s attorney Susan Flander was denied by Judge James Drew.  He will go to trial on November 14th.

Judon had new charges imposed on him Wednesday related to the care of  an animal.

Judon was charged with No Rabies, No Dog License, and Sanitary Conditions violations and a bond was set at $500.00 on those charges.

Judon had riot charges brought by the Mason City Police Department dismissed by Judge Charles Biebesheimer in 2003 due to insufficient evidence.  He also plead guilty in 2008 for driving while barred as a habitual offender; found guilty of operating while intoxicated in 2001; had charges of interference with official acts brought by the Iowa State Patrol in 2001 dismissed by Judge Charles Biebesheimer; found guilty of interference with official acts and public intoxication in 2002 after charges were brought by the Mason City Police Department (given time served and $250 fine by Judge Charles Biebesheimer); had assault charges brought in 2003 by the Mason City Police Department dismissed by Judge Colleen Weiland; found guilty of interference with official acts by Judge Weiland after he failed to show up for court ($111 in fines and court costs); had domestic assault charges brought by Mason City Police Department in 2005 dismissed by Judge Weiland due to insufficient evidence; plead guilty in 2007 to assault causing bodily injury but had charges of harassment, tampering with a witness and criminal mischief dismissed by Judge Brian McKinley (given 2 days in jail); had charges of domestic assault brought by Mason City Police Department in 2009 dismissed by Judge Carolyn Grupp; was found guilty of assault causing bodily injury in 2011 by Judge Ronald Wagenaar (14 days in jail and still owes $1086.49 in court fees); plead guilty to interference with official acts in 2007 after an incident involving the Clear Lake Police Department (given 2 days in jail and still owes $125 in court costs); and other offenses.

First off it aint racist to call darkies darkies, I have heard black folks call themself that word, OK then. Second off I have heard my grandson’s friends that’s black call them selfs the *N* word, yes I sure have. So that aint racist neither since them folks is using it. It would be racist if whites cant use that word yes it will. OK 3rd everbody knows that black may be beautyfull and tan may be grand, but white is the color of the big boss man. That is also not racist, it is just like it is. Look at how little black QBs are around, yes we got us Obama in there, but he does his thinking with the white side, thats why he aint in jail. Racists is them says we can’t use the same words that the negro use OK that’s it.

“We must let the darkys know who is boss. They only got to stay here on count of Lincoln getting shot, he was going to send them away.”

It sounds as if your family is still stuck on Judge Douglas’s platform of 1858! While he won the Senatorial race, he lost the presidential campaign.

News flash: it’s 2012, and in the U.S. all people are considered equal. No longer is it acceptable to treat others as lesser beings.

And your reference to what Lincoln wrote is taken out of context. Go back to his speech and read that whole thing.

Burning crosses is quite gauche. And for your safety, I suggest you stop wearing your sheets, and put them back on the bed. This is of course assuming there is a bed from the rock your crawled out from under.

Ben and Ken you two dont know what you are talking about. I am a Christian always have treated darkys just the same as I treat regular people. You are soooo wrong, you see, I and my husband are the farthest thing from racist, we even have some records by Nat King Cole and Sammy Davis Jr. OK now you see how wrong you both are.

What kind of racist crap is this?? As long as we differentiate by color we will have discrimination. This guy belongs behind bars but not because of the color of his skin but because he is a danger to the rest of society. It is my hope that you racist end up in jail with him where you belong.

Wow…. The language I just read from that poster just makes my skin crawl and my stomach turn. I feel like I am reading something from 100 years ago. I am embarrassed for that poster and disgusted by it. There is trash of every color running around. To make the racist comments you did shows ignorance off the charts. Please go back to your time machine and head back to the pre Civil War days where you belong. Having attitudes like that in the area are as damaging to our community as the people who commit crimes.

This crook looks very familiar, I believe we saw him shuffling near the band shell about a month ago. I for one am getting tired of seeing all this new breed of criminal faces in our papers. Near every time they’re in the news they have committed some crime. The negroes I knew when we grew up on the farm were nice to us. They were glad that they werent slaves like their grandmas and grandpas had been, and they knew that they better watch their p’s and q’s or there’d be trouble. My dad and his friends kept them out of the bars and they knew their place. Now the more savage ones of this breed act like we owe them something. This must change. We need to send him and his kind down to Waterloo or some such place where they fit in better, not up here. I would have thought that Iowa is way too cold for them, but with all our welfare and easy judges and good watermelons, they come here now. We must let the darkys know who is boss. They only got to stay here on count of Lincoln getting shot, he was going to send them away. If they don’t get their act together maybe we should vote somebody in who will get rid of the bad ones.

Your comments are racist and are not needed regarding this article. His “color” has nothing to do with the charges against him.

He has a long criminal record and needs some time behind bars to figure things out and not let go every time he gets a new charge.

Our judges are the problem. They send a message to these repeat offenders, white, brown, whatever. I can see giving someone a break on the first or second deal if there is some doubt, but this is crazy stupid!

Man lady you got some real issues. I am sick of all the crime and I know where it is coming from but not all law breakers are black. I wish the ones that came from Chicago and Detroit would go back where they came from not because the color of their skin but who they are. I know people that have lived here all their life telling everyone they are from C or D just to sound cool. It is to bad they want to be known as those kind of people just to be cool and again I am not talking about the color of their skin

Is this the definition of “career criminal” or what? He is single-handedly keeping our police on the run!
