WASHINGTON – President Obama says that because Republicans in Congress allowed a series of harmful, automatic budget cuts—called the sequester—to take effect, important programs like Head Start are now forced to reduce their services. After travelers were stuck for hours in airports and on planes this past week, members of Congress passed a temporary band-aid measure to stop the cuts that impact airlines — but they must do more to stop cuts to vital services for the American people. That’s why it’s time for a balanced approach to deficit reduction that makes smarter cuts and reforms in the tax code while creating jobs and strengthening the middle class.

Congress did not pass anything to stop the cuts. All they did was move money from one account to another. The so called cut was less than 2% of their budget and took them back to 2010 levels. It was all a bunch of B.S. by Obama. He can’t even tell the truth after the fact. He signed the damn bill but when it backfired on him he wants to blame the Republicans.
Because the nasty Republicans allowed a series of cutbacks…..YOU signed the bill, blame yourself. I know, I know it’s Bush’s fault. You never take responsibility for anything. Remember the buck stops at your desk!!! Get doing the job you were elected to do and talk from your heart and mind and NOT the prompter. Sheesh.
