MASON CITY – A Mason City man is facing a second-offense drunk driving charge after police investigated a collision.
The incident took place before 11:00 PM on Thursday, August 4. Mason City police officers investigated a collision at 1361 12th Street NW. After an investigation, officers arrested 40-year-old William Eugene Wold of Mason City on a charge of second-offense operating while intoxicated.
Wold was taken to the county jail, booked and held on $2,000 surety bond, which was soon posted. He was released, pending an August 15 court date.
