CENTERVILLE, IOWA – An Iowa man lost his life Saturday morning after losing control of his sports utility vehicle on a rural road.
According to a report from the Iowa State Patrol, at 3:12 AM Saturday morning, an accident occurred at the 2000 block of county road J5T in Appanoose county near Centerville. A 1995 Jeep Cherokee driven by 22-year-old Lucas Buban of Centerville was eastbound when he failed to negotiate a curve in the road and entered a ditch. The SUV proceeded to fill several times, ejecting Buban, who was not wearing a seatbelt.
Buban was pronounced dead after the accident, which remains under investigation.
