MASON CITY – A Mason City woman was arrested for drunk driving.
Cerro Gordo deputies conducted a traffic stop in Clear Lake, near 14th Street North and Highway 18, Saturday morning after midnight. Jessica Ann Myers, age 18, was the driver. After an investigation, Meyers was arrested on a charge of operating while intoxicated. A passenger was cited for open container, and the vehicle was impounded.
Meyers was taken to the county jail for processing. According to records, only one female subject (not necessarily Meyers) was given a breath alcohol test on May 16. That test was given at 1:18 AM by the same officer who made this arrest. The result was .015.
Meyers remained jailed as of Monday morning.
