CLEAR LAKE – A Clear Lake man was jailed for drug possession after a traffic stop.
Cerro Gordo deputies stopped a vehicle far a bad brake light late Friday night, May 15, just before midnight. The driver got a warning, but an investigation revealed that the passenger in the vehicle, 18-year-old Zachary Joseph Page of Clear Lake, and marijuana, an illegal substance in Iowa.
Page was arrested and taken to the county jail for processing. The next day, he declared via social media “I’m free”. He awaits a court date.
