Mason City man wanted for months arrested

MASON CITY – A Mason City man wanted since June on an arrest warrant was caught Sunday night.

Bradley L. Fransen, age 36, was picked up at 9th Street and North Federal by a law enforcement officer at about 8:45 PM as a result of a traffic stop. A warrant for his arrest had been issued on June 20 for parole violations connected to a willful injury case.

Courts are still attempting to collect over $5533.50 in unpaid fines and court fees from him.

Fransen is being held on no bond until he sees a judge.

Why would they give him back his voting rights if he still owes money. I would think they would have to finish their sentence before being granted voting rights. A fine is part of that sentence.
