MASON CITY – Law enforcement in North Iowa brought a wanted man to jail Tuesday night.
Mason City police assisted the Nora Springs Police Department with an arrest of a wanted subject, 23-year-old Jordan Nicholas Pohlman of Mason City. Pohlman failed to appear in court on August 15 on a probation revocation hearing connected to felony drug charges. In 2012, he was caught with marijuana in East Park, allegedly there to make a sale. He later pled guilty and was given probation and a 5-year suspended prison sentence.
Mason City police transported Pohlman to the Cerro Gordo County Jail, where he is being held on $5,000 cash-only bond.
Pohlman owes Iowa courts thousands in unpaid fines and fees from a range of cases within the last few years, including drug charges, assault and escape of a felon.
