JASPER COUNTY – A single-vehicle rollover injured two out-of-state residents Tuesday and took the life of another.
According to a report, a 2012 GMC truck driven by Linda Arita, age 61, of Roland Heights, California, was westbound on Interstate 80 near the 176 mile marker on Jasper county when it left the roadway and rolled over.
Arita was injured. Also injured was Glen Kariya, age 59, of North Ogden, Utah. Both were taken to an area hospital with undisclosed injures.
Kathleen Kariya, age 64, of North Ogden, Utah was killed.
The incident remains under investigation and charges are pending.
