MASON CITY – A Mason City woman was jailed Thursday on a contempt of court charge.
Angela Marie Honebrink, 24, was picked up by Cerro Gordo County sheriff’s deputies at 8:39 AM Thursday morning at the Cerro Gordo County Courthouse on a criminal contempt charge initiated by Judge Rustin Davenport on December 13th. Davenport had issued an arrest warrant for Honebrink due to a pre-trial violation in a case involving 2 counts of child endangerment and operating while intoxicated.
Honebrink had been charged on August 20th after a traffic stop on August 17th with OWI and the 2 counts of child endangerment, both with no injuries. She plead guilty to one count of child endangerment on November 13th and according to records, will face a plea review and sentencing hearing on January 3rd, 2013. The other two charges are still in court.
Just about a week after the traffic stop incident, Honebrink was arrested and booked into the Cerro Gordo County Jail on August 28th after a report was taken by Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s deputies for criminal mischief and trespass at a home on Winnebago Avenue in Mason City. Honebrink allegedly entered the property and slashed 4 tires on a vehicle parked in the driveway.
Honebrink is now in the Cerro Gordo County Jail, held on $4,000 cash bond.
