CG Health at Mohawk Square

(Mason City) — The Cerro Gordo County Department of Public Health will host a flu clinic this Saturday, October 20, 2012 from 9:00 AM to Noon located at our Immunization Clinic in Mohawk Square.

“Saturday flu clinics are a convenient way for individuals that don’t have the opportunity to attend our standard weekly or evening flu clinics to still get vaccinated,” said Karen Crimmings, Disease Prevention and Investigation Service Manager, Cerro Gordo County Department of Public Health. “We strive to make our services available for all residents to further protect our community from the flu.”

The Health Department will be offering the following types of flu vaccine:

  • Traditional flu shot (ages 6 months and older)             $23
  • High-dose flu shot (ages 65 and older)             $41
  • Intradermal flu shots (ages 18-64)                    $25
  • FluMist (ages 2-49)                                          $25

The Health Department accepts most major health insurances.  With insurance, no money is collected at the time of the vaccination; services are billed directly to insurance. Any remaining balance is billed to the client after insurance has paid for its portion of the service.

For more information about the flu vaccine, please call 641-421-9321 or visit our website at www.cghealth.com.
