SELMA – A shooting in this tiny Van Buren community sent one person to the hospital Saturday afternoon, but further details weren’t available.
The Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office and Iowa State Patrol responded to the scene of the shooting at 11883 Bridge St. at 1:15 p.m.
One person was arrested, and another was taken to Ottumwa Regional Health Center. The names of the people involved and the details of the shooting were not released Saturday.
The incident remains under investigation.
