MASON CITY – Hy-Vee East gas station is doing a full remodel, according to employees.
The convenience store will be expanding just over 25 feet to the east and 3 feet to the north to make more room for Hy-Vee food and merchandise.
The remodeled store will now offer two restrooms instead of one.
Also, the new-look will be much more similar in appearance to the grocery store.
The remodel started several weeks ago and should be complete by the end of October, and employee said today.
