Our school board should be ashamed of themselves, along with our horrible superintendant Anita Micich. Ever since she came to Mason City our school board kisses her butt and gives her everything she wants and look at what it is costing us!!! I have children in the school system and have not seen anything thing positive that’s happened since she came on board. What does she care about tax payers money??? She doesn’t own a home in Mason City, her home is in Des Moines, she rents here. We pay her an exorbent amount of money and for what??? It’s time for her to go and it’s time for the school board to start listening to the parents and members of this community and to stop listening to Micich!!

Simply ,NO!

We have a hotel , a library with a coffee shop and a spendy downtown.

The money has run out.

Could someone please help me because I don’t remember the exact facts and figures. Two years ago at the High School by the stadium they built TEMPORARY classrooms for around $1,000,000 while two buildings they already owned sat empty. A year later they sold one of those schools, Washington I believe, for around $90,000? Why would you spend that kind of money on something TEMPORARY when you already own something that would of worked for that year or two? Does not make much sense to me. Now they want to ask you and I for more money. I don’t know, maybe the money has to come from two differn’t funds but sill lets use some common sense. Doesn’t seem like much has been used lately.

It is pretty hard to justify needing more money when they have just finished buiding a one middle school and are in the process of rebuilding another for millions of dollars. How do you justify that with less students and supposedly less teachers. They spend millions on unneeded schools and then can’t afford new computer’s. Come on-give me a break. No more money for these overeducated dummy’s who can’t manage the tax money we already give them.

How about all of our educators in good ole river city take a 10 percent pay cut? Give back to the children teachers and administration.

More money will not improve education. The time has come for the public to access what works best for educating our children.

Until our Government Schools stop indoctrination our children with the tainted knowledge and spreading socialism as an economic system I am not voting to give one more penny to a flawed educational system.

they want another levy? why does the superintendet need another pay raise?
thats what happened the last time they wanted one and it passed on a vote, but for some reason it never went for what it was voted for. how about she take a pay cut?
