Steve King: “I am committed to ensuring that Hillary Clinton comes up short” in bid for Presidency

NIT – Steve King got out ahead of Hillary Clinton Sunday, sending an email to supporters and constituents promising to de-rail the Clinton campaign if people would donate money to him.

“I am committed to ensuring that Hillary Clinton comes up short,” U.S. Representative Steve King said, and then blasted her record.

“Hillary Clinton is announcing her campaign for President today and one thing is clear: She can’t be trusted. Do you remember Benghazi? Whitewater? How about when she deleted 30,000 “private” emails?”

King me it clear that with enough cash, Clinton could be beaten by a Republican.

“The Republican field is strong and actually offers a sharp contrast to the Obama administration’s ultra-liberal agenda,” King said. So far, only Ted Cruz of Texas and Rand Paul of Kentucky are official GOP candidates, but the field is expected to grow.

“It all starts here in Iowa, King explained. “That’s why it’s crucial we have the resources to spread the word that Hillary can’t be trusted to lead America.

“The Clinton money machine will raise hundreds of millions of dollars in the next year and a half”, King said, before asking for “a quick contribution if you are NOT ready for Hillary.”

At the 2007 Republican Straw Poll, this was the message…STOP HILLARY. They did and ignored Obama until it was too late. I predict the same thing this time, they will be so focused on Hillary, that some Johnny Come Lately will win the Democratic nomination.

Even though I don’t trust any Clinton any farther than I can see them, I predict that Hillary will be the next president. People will vote justify their vote for her, the same as they did for Obama. Obama got their vote only because he was black and Clinton will get it because she’s female.

@Buzz-I really hope you are wrong. With any luck people will have learned from their mistake. However, there are a lot of really stupid people out there.

Not a fan of King, but I agree with this project. She is the most unqualified person other than Obama to ever run for president.

So who do you think would be a good Presidential candidate?

Leaning towards Rubio or Carson. But, there is a long way to go yet. Carson may just be to far to the right.

@NIT-Bush is O.K. and I like him better than his father or brother, but, he is to much old establishment for me. I like Rubio because he has fresh ideas and attitudes. Still way to early yet. I kind of like Huck but I am afraid of the religion thing. He is a smart guy though.

King should write editorials for the Globe. He’s Golden Pen material for certain.

Finally something meaningful coming from King…..who is a train wreck himself. With any luck these two people could implode.

King should BE committed rather than committing himself to stopping HIllary just like he was committed to making President Obama’s term of office difficult

No we don’t need Hillary but we also don’t need Steve King. Thats like the kettle calling the pot black. The republicans are imploding with in their self. No New ideas. Young voters turning against them in droves. When the baby boomers die off the repub’s will be gone. You can only ride religion and the NRA so far. As we die so does the republicans and yes i’m a baby boomer. Average age of people watching the O’riely factor is 72 can you believe that 72. About the age of NIT

Yup, one viewer is 71 and the other is 73, so the average age is 72.
