MASON CITY – The Humane Society of North Iowa announced Wednesday a donation from Hy-Vee West and Purina in the amount of $200.
Human Society Director Sybil Soukup explained on the organization’s Facebook page that Hy-Vee West recently had a sale on Purina pet products. The Humane Society participated in the promotion by bringing a few shelter animals to the store to raise awareness about the shelter and adoptable animals.
Soukup said “Here I am with my favorite lil shelter dog Bailey (who has since been adopted) receiving the check!”
