The auction began at 9:00 a.m. in rainy conditions at Monroe Storage, 1627 S. Monroe Ave. in Mason City.

They started auctioning off the bikes first, nearly 200 of them. It took almost an hour for all of them to be sold. People were buying them by the bulk, loading trailers with all kinds of different bikes. Kids were walking their new bikes with big smiles on their faces.

After all the bikes were sold they started auctioning off the electronics. Blackberries went for as low as $25.00.

They still had another storage shed filled with office supplies, like filing cabinets and a a sofa.

They even had a rechareable mini mini-bike available.|
