FAYETTE, IOWA – Cops raced to this rural Northern Iowa location on a report of men crawling in a yard and discovered a suspect with a dangerous drug in his possession.
On March 12, 2025, at approximately 4:01 PM, Fayette County Deputies were dispatched to a trespass call in the 11000 block of K Avenue in Fayette, Iowa. Upon the deputy’s arrival, the Deputy was informed that two men were crawling around the yard. After further investigation, 37-year-old Andrew Scott Lien of West Union, Iowa, was placed under arrest on the following charges:
– Possession of Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine 1st Offense
– Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
– Trespass 1st Offense
– Interference with Official Acts
Lien was transported to the Fayette County Jail where he was held until his initial appearance. He was later released on bond.
