IOWA CITY – Iowa point guard Dasonte Bowen has entered the transfer portal, he announced this week.
Bowen is a 6-2 sophomore guard from Massachusetts and has played little as of late with a reported injury. He’s averaged 3.7 points and 1.1 rebounds per game. He could refuse offers and return to the team.
Iowa is loaded at the guard position with emerging talent sophomore Josh Dix and freshman Brock Harding gobbling up minutes and solid in the future.
Iowa a #3 seed, advanced past Kanasas State 91-82 this week in the NIT and plays Sunday at #2 seed Utah.
