Keith Dennis Johnson, 78, of Mason City, IA, passed away peacefully October 12, 2022, at Good Shepherd Health Center in Mason City.
Per Keith’s wishes, no services will be held.
Keith was born November 25, 1943, in Mason City, son of Melvin and Eleanor (Erickson) Johnson. He earned his GED and served in the U.S Army. He worked for maintenance and retired from the Larson Factory. Keith was a jack of all trades and could fix anything whether it was a plumbing, electrical or construction problem. If family needed help, he’d drop everything to be there and asked for nothing in return. He loved spending time with his siblings and grandkids. Keith was always taking them out with him and sending them home with whatever treasures they had found that day. He also loved to ride his Harley and shared that love with his son.
In lieu of memorials and in honor of Keith’s memory, please pay forward an act of kindness without expecting anything in return.
Keith is survived by his daughter, Cindi (Chad) Jeffrey; daughter-in-law, Dawn; grandchildren, Erica (John) Parrish, Brandon Johnson, Nathaniel Johnson, Zach Jeffrey and Kyler Jeffrey; great-granddaughter, Vivian Parrish; sister, Elaine Miller; niece, Kathy (Lena) Udelhofen; cousin, Jon (April) Obanion; and many other beloved friends and family.
Keith was preceded in death by his son, Mike Johnson; parents, Melvin and Eleanor; sister, Kay Heinold; and brother, Harold Johnson.
