MASON CITY – Friends and family of Maggie Groff of Mason City will host a benefit fundraiser for her from 4 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27, at the Candy Bar, 116 N. Federal Ave., Mason City.
There will be wine-tasting ($10 for a tasting glass) live and silent auctions, and food (free-will offering).
“Come join us to help Maggie and wish her continued success in her battle against cancer,” said Vickie Hornbuckle, a coordinator of the event. “Maggie is a great person and a friend to many … always willing to go the extra mile to help others.”
