WHITTEMORE — Tamara Kay “Tammy” Knobloch, 58, passed away September 30, 2026, at Kossuth Regional Health Center in Algona.

Funeral services were held Monday, October 5, at the Apostolic Christian Church in West Bend, with interment at the Apostolic Christian Cemetery. Visitation was held Sunday at the Apostolic Christian Fellowship Center and again Monday morning before the service.

Tammy was born July 10, 1968, in Emmetsburg to Wayne and Kathryn Koehl Fehr. The second of five children, she grew up on the family farm near West Bend and graduated from West Bend High School in 1986.

She later completed a two-year college degree and worked for a time in Florida and Sioux Falls, South Dakota, before returning home.

Tammy married Cameron Knobloch of Lester on April 15, 1989. The couple was baptized together on May 6, 1990, and Tammy’s Christian faith remained a central part of her life from that point forward.

Family and farming were woven deeply into Tammy’s life.

She worked alongside Cameron for many years while raising their children and caring for their acreage. She loved being outdoors, whether riding her bicycle or four-wheeler, walking with friends or tending to plants.

Those who knew Tammy remembered her for a quiet steadiness and an ability to make people feel genuinely welcomed and loved.

Her home and heart were open to many people over the years, and family said that kindness became one of the lasting marks of her life.

Tammy also endured the profound loss of her daughter, Amanda. Through that grief, her family said she continued to hold tightly to her faith and share her smile and kindness with those around her.

Tammy is survived by her husband of 37 years, Cameron; sons Braden and McKenzie Knobloch of Sharpsburg, Georgia, and Corbin and Molly Knobloch of Whittemore; son-in-law Darin and Darcy Banwart of West Bend; grandchildren Jarrett, Kyler, Kate, Vivianne, Rea, Chase, Cameron, Clay, Gavin and Jo; father Wayne Fehr of West Bend; sisters Melissa and Todd Kuenzi and Colette and Jason Snook, both of Salem, Oregon; brothers Byron and Anita Fehr of West Bend and Matthew and Rachel Fehr of Parker, Colorado; sisters-in-law Ronda and Jim Thielen, Lola and Dan Deragisch, Kim and Todd Massner, Carla Knobloch and Penny and Jim Domnick; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Amanda Banwart; an infant grandson; her mother, Kathryn Fehr; sister-in-law Pamela Knobloch; father-in-law Alfred Knobloch; mother-in-law Lucille Knobloch; paternal grandparents Elmer and Matilda Fehr; and maternal grandparents Ephraim and Eunice Koehl.

Additional information and condolences for the family are available through Lentz Funeral Home.
