CHARLES CITY – Police arrested a man for public intoxication in Charles City Friday.
Police said that they arrested Courtland N. Smith, age 39 Friday afternoon at about 4:50 PM in the 100 block of 13th Avenue. Smith was charged with a serious misdemeanor due to earlier charges for public intox.
He was taken to the Floyd County Jail and released.
SUBJECT IS INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY
