CHARLES CITY – A jury trial has been set for a Charles City man who was arrested in January for serious assault and carrying weapons.
Charles Jerry Foster will face trial on April 17, 2014. He was arrested by Charles City police on January 8, 2014 by officers at the 400 block of 5th Avenue for serious assault (serious misdemeanor) and carrying weapons (aggravated misdemeanor). He has plead not guilty.
On February 20, 2014, police again arrested Foster at about 1:16 PM at the 1000 block of Gilbert Street. He was charged with driving while barred, driving while suspended, and no proof of insurance. He was set to appear in court Monday morning.
SUBJECT IS INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY
