CHARLES CITY – An Iowa man is accused in Floyd county of sexually abusing a child.
Michael Douglas Ahrenholz, age 42 reportedly of Waverly, Iowa, is facing serious charges brought by the Floyd county sheriff’s office on November 4. The charges are felony B second degree sexual abuse, allegedly committed on Jan. 1, 2019; felony C lascivious acts with a child, allegedly committed on Jan. 1, 2019; and serious misdemeanor indecent exposure, allegedly committed on June 1, 2020.
Ahrenholz was taken to the Floyd County Jail, where he remains held on $36,000 cash bond.
