CLEAR LAKE – A Clear Lake man was arrested today for lascivious acts with a child.
On Friday February 14, 2020 at 12:15pm, Edric Morris, age 40, from Clear Lake, was arrested on one count of Sex Abuse in the 3rd Degree, and one count of Lascivious Acts with a Child. Both charges are Class A felonies since both are second or subsequent violations.
The charges stem from a complaint received in late January 2020. The incident occurred in Clear Lake with a child under 14 years of age. Detectives worked with the Iowa Department of Human Services and the Cerro Gordo County Attorney’s Office.
Morris is being held at the Cerro Gordo County Jail on a cash bond of $1,000,000.00.
The case remains under investigation and no further information will be released at this time.

If he had done this to my daughter, he would beg the police to arrest him before I got my hands on him.

So this has happened before? I haven’t looked at his criminal history, so I’m just assuming that is what the story is suggesting.
Why can’t we just get to the point where, upon conviction, we just shoot these pieces of trash in the face with a bazooka? There is no rehab for this shit, especially when we have a whole faction of people that want to say that pedophilia is a “sexual orientation”.
