MARSHALLTOWN, IOWA – Multiple law enforcement agencies went to Marshall county this week to execute a narcotics search warrant, resulting in the arrest of three people.
Yesterday Deputy Mitch Kappel and K9 Ogon assisted the Mid Iowa in the execution of a in Marshall County.
On August 10nd, 2017 agents with the Mid-Iowa Drug Task Force served a narcotic search warrant in the 1700 mile of Vance Ave Marshalltown, Iowa.
As a result of this investigation, three suspects were arrested and transported to the Marshall County Jail on various criminal drug charges:
Michael Weatherly, age 57 of Conrad
• Manufacture/Deliver/Possess a controlled substance – Marijuana – D Felony
• Tax Stamp Violation – D Felony
• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Simple Misdemeanor
Melissa Weatherly, age 42, of Conrad
• Possession of Schedule I Controlled Substance– Marijuana – Serious Misdemeanor
• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Simple Misdemeanor
Roger Waltemeyer, age 56, of Marshalltown
• Manufacture/Deliver/Possess a controlled substance – Marijuana – D Felony
• Tax Stamp Violation – D Felony
• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Simple Misdemeanor
Officers found evidence of marijuana and methamphetamine use and seized marijuana, marijuana plants, and drug paraphernalia as a result of the search warrant.
Additional arrests are pending as the investigation continues.
The Mid Iowa Drug Task Force was assisted with the execution of the search warrants by the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office, Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, and the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office.
The Mid-Iowa Drug Task Force is funded by a grant, through the United States Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance, and the Governor’s Office of Drug Control Policy.
