MASON CITY – Police were called to a domestic incident in the city’s North End this weekend and arrested a Minneapolis man.
Mason City police responded to a call to do a welfare check on a subject on Saturday afternoon, April 30, at about 1:38 PM. Officers arrived at 1520 North Federal Avenue, home of Mary Kay’s Pet Grooming store, to investigate. The incident was found to be a domestic assault incident.
As a result, officers arrested 18-year-old Daniel Tyrique Moore of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Moore was taken to the county jail on a charge of simple domestic assault. He remains held in the jail at this time on no bond until he sees a judge.
