SAC COUNTY, IOWA – An Iowa man accused of incest and sex abuse was caught by cops doing road work in Northern Iowa.
Sac county sheriff’s officials were contacted by Muscatine, Iowa police on March 28, 2022. Sac County was informed that they had arrest warrants for 34-year-old Tomas Rubio-Perez of Muscatine, Iowa charging him with two counts of sexual abuse and a count of incest. Muscatine Police told Sac County that Rubio-Perez was working road construction on Hwy 71 south of Ulmer, Iowa. Around 12:40PM, sheriff’s officials located Rubio-Perez and took him into custody without incident.
Rubio-Perez is currently being held in the Sac County Jail without bond awaiting transportation back to Muscatine County, Iowa.
All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
