MASON CITY – A Mason City woman was arrested last night on a domestic violence charge.
Samantha Suzanne Schrader, 19, allegedly sprayed her boyfriend with pepper spray yesterday at their home in the 200 block of 6th Street NE. The man received minor injuries in the physical confrontation, Mason City police said today. Schrader was arrested at 8:28 p.m. on a charge of serious domestic assault and taken to the Cerro Gordo County Jail and released this afternoon.
Then today at about 4:45 p.m., police said Schrader was again arrested, this time for violating the no-contact order that was put in place due to the domestic situation. She was again taken to the Cerro Gordo County Jail for processing.
SUBJECT IS INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY.
