MASON CITY – The Mason City Noon Rotary presented 4 $500 scholarships to area youth at its most recent meeting on Monday May 20, 2019.
Participating students were required to each write an essay about how the Rotary motto of “Service above Self” applied to their lives and about their volunteer service experience in High School, as well an application which verified their class rank and grades. Students were chosen by a panel of club members.
The award winners are:
Nathan Elsbrand, of Mason City who will graduate from Mason City High School; Brandon McKelvey of Mason City who will graduate from Mason City High School; Derek Dalen of Mason City who will graduate from Mason City High School; and Grayson Gaubatz of Mason City who will graduate from Newman Catholic Schools.
Mason City Noon Rotary meets each Monday at the Prime and Wine.
