ALLISON, IOWA – A teen from Butler county in Northern Iowa that was reported missing has been found safe.

According to the Butler county sheriff’s office, 17-year-old Ethan E. Weitzenkamp of Allison was reported missing to that law enforcement agency on November 27, 2015. His mother, Jamie Weitzenkamp, reported that Ethan “left early Friday morning (November 27) and hasn’t been seen or heard from since.” He was last seen in his gold 2003 Mitsubishi Galant and was supposed to attend a wrestling practice.

However, in a positive development, Jamie Weitzenkamp said early Saturday that “Ethan is found safe.

“I’m so happy to say we received a call late last night that Ethan was found safe in St. Paul, MN. We are on our way home with him now.”
