MASON CITY – A Charles City man has been arrested and charged with felony domestic assault involving strangulation.
Police in Charles City took at leah two reports Wednesday, December 9 of a domestic situation that had occurred. After an investigation, officers arrested 36-year-old Matthew Easterly at the 600 block of 1st Avenue for felony domestic assault and false imprisonment.
Easterly was jailed and then posted bond thinnest day. He must appear in court on December 22.
