ROCHESTER, MN – A deer was struck by a car and sent hurtling into a second vehicle, and a child was injured in the accident.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 6-year-old child was injured Sunday afternoon when a deer was struck by a Saturn Ion traveling westbound on Highway 14 near Olmsted County Road, outside Rochester, Minnesota. When the deer was struck, it was sent flying into eastbound traffic and struck another Saturn, an SL2.
The injured child, Aracelli Rocha-Perea, was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
